About me:

Well if your here then you probably know me already, but for those of you who don't allow me to introduce myself. My name is Matthew Connolly, I am a full time college student, musician, veteran Ranger, and all around bad ass. I am currently majoring in Computer Engineering at American River College with intent to transfer to Sacramento State University. I perform as a saxophonist and guitarist in four different bands and countless recording projects. And up until Aug 07 I served as a United States Army Ranger in third Ranger Battalion completing tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Here is a list of the bands I perform with currently: Plasma Cannon (Guitar/Lead Singer/Songwriter) Flip The Switch (Guitar/Singer/Songwriter) Spin 45 (Saxophone/ Backing Vocals) KNIFETHRUHEAD (Saxophonist/Backing Vocals) I work hard and I play hard. When I am not engaged in the above mentioned activities I can be found skydiving (80+ jumps-free fall), SCUBA diving (100+ dives in Caves, Wrecks, and Deep Water), traveling, running and or working out.

Who I'd like to meet:

George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, Bob Dylan, Joe Strummer, Charles Mingus, David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, Alfred Einstein, GG Allin, Neil Armstrong, the last man or woman on earth.

    oh no, i dont like the sound of any of that - the broken finger, the vicodin, or the David Bowie - hope you make it out of all that alive - i'm going back to school, and working there too until i can get into the states Student Asst. program. i'm giving up on radio, and my last marching band production is on Dec. 17th...i've musicogenic epilespsy apparently, yeah, look that one up - so i'm laying low until i get that taken care of...otherwise, all is well! Just thinkin' about ya the otherday, nice to hear from you!

    Connolly! It's been months, how've you been?! Thought I'd give you an update on Jason, he's been able to call every once in awhile. He finished pre-ranger school then started ranger school, although he was just... (recycled). The first thing he said after telling me that was, "Connolly is gonna give me so much shit for getting recycled" lol I told him I'd tell you hi for him and check in with you to see how things have been.
