After a few years of doing repair work at home, Brooks Harlan opened Big Crunch amplifier and guitar repair shop in February of 2008. The shop is located in Baltimore city within the hallowed walls of Magpie Cage recording studio.
Big Crunch specializes in tube amps and guitar setups, but we would be happy to talk to you about any gear problem you might have.

Guitar Set-Up’s are $62 plus strings. This is a full set-up - body cleaning, fret board cleaning, truss rod adjustment, bridge cleaning/lubing, action adjustment, intonation adjustment, checking all electronics, tightening any loose parts, etc.
Amp Tune-Up's are $62. This includes a part by part internal inspection, all voltages checked, all tubes checked, bias checked, all potentiometers cleaned, all tube sockets cleaned, all jacks cleaned, etc.
We accept cash and credit card. So bring in your broken gear and please tell your bandmates and your friends!
