Big Dance 2008 (5-13 July) is now over, but what an incredible week of events. There were an estimated half a million participants in London and over 500 events across the capital. Londoners and visitors to the capital were invited to take part in the city wide celebration of dance in all its forms, backed by the Mayor of London.There were all kinds of dance world records broken including the biggest remote dance class on 12 July and the biggest Bollywood dance class with 278 participants and the largest number of streetdance moves in one minute. A new world record was set with 22 kip-ups on 6 July.
