About me:
Big Day Out is a free festival of Music and the Performing Arts which returns on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 for our 5th Birthday.
This year, during sunlight hours there will be a stronger family focus with lots of opportunities to participate, (1pm-6pm). For slightly wilder sights and sounds, we’re built-to-thrill from 6pm-11.30pm onwards as the beat goes on and on! See July-Sept brochure for more details. FREE Opportunities to participate are still available and here's how: musicians, outdoor/street performers, volunteers, food and goods stallholders, and funders to join in the fun and bring something personal to the festival - please click the appropriate link to find out more (environmental experts, look out for a further invitation soon).
