Jeff Harrison Tribute/ Benefit at The Cretin Hop Oct 25th
Recently Jeff Harrison, Son to Millie Harrison, Father to Lyrik Skye Harrison, Employee to Gilles Realty, and Guitarist/Singer to the Big Dirty Guns band, passed away.
We, Jeff’s family and band mates are putting on an All ages Tribute/Benefit for Lyrik and her grandma on Saturday October 25th at the Cretin Hop which is located on 1317 N. Howard close to the Arena. There will be 10 bands playing: Reason for Existence, Dead-ones USA, Jeff Ness & the V.D., Good Kids-Bad Ideas, The Swallows, Lithium I.D., The Brown Notes, Scary Jane, and Sonic Death Ray. The remaining members of Big Dirty Guns will also be playing. Members from different bands will be filling in for the late Jeff Harrison. Members filling in include Jason McKinney from Civilized Animal, Adrienne, Stephanie, and Betty from The Swallows and Tommy from Reason for Existence. Friends of Jeff’s will also be filling in: Announcer Mike, Jeff’s Girl, Jody, Shady and Rick. The show starts at 3pm. It is free but, donations for the family is, what this is all about.

I have no words. I just saw Jeff on Friday at my work and he seemed fine and normal. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all his family and friends. I have my baby shower on Saturday the 20th but, I will try to be there for Jeff, if even briefly. The world will be at a loss.
jeff, i cant belive this....you were a good friend...im going to miss your visits at work just to see what was up...last time i saw you was at rancid and you seemed cool. you always raved so much about your band and i had the honour to see you guys play and you fucking rocked...even though you told me you thought you sounded like crap. im going to miss you brother!!!! darren.
