   About Big Drugs
Trafalgar Lee Jenkins, older brother of the legendary Horatio Lee Jenkins, formed Big Drugs in 1977, when he was only 16 years old, with one simple goal in his heart: bringing peace to the entire galaxy.

Big Drugs became quite popular regionally and their performances were so potent that they rendered many of their stages and audiences, if not the entire galaxy, permanently groovy.

Trafalgar was the lead singer and primary songwriter. The other members of this excellent psychedelic rock collective were Sammy Deutch (currently Horatio's drummer), Jeb Jacobs (currently Horatio's bassist), Jimmy Joe Dan (proprietor of Soaring Bald Eagle Studios), and Sally O'Brien (who attends the Whiskey Barn performances every week!).

Unfortunately, "Peacequake", recorded in January of 1979 was their only recording. Trafalgar left Arkansas in February of 1979 to travel the world and study canoe making from the world's greatest canoe masters. He returned home in 1996 as a great canoe master himself.

Trafalgar has performed on one of Horatio's records and also on Carl's record, but claims he has no desire to form another band. I believe this is a bit sad as "Peacequake" clearly demonstrates great musical potential.

"Peacequake" is an excellent song. May it rattle your soul into a groovier and much more peaceful place.

Thank you,
Deacon Frederick Leroy Elroy Smith
