This Cryptozoological Field Study is designed to give the participant practical, applied science experience in conducting research in the field under natural conditions and provide the participants with "real world" hands on training in the forensic techniques taught in this exciting program. This program specializes in operating techinical equipment, animal tracking, skill sets in forensic interviewing, proper documentation techniques, video evidence analysis, forensic evidence collection, and proper preservation of such items as plaster casts, hair samples, DNA samples,scat and other biological materials.
The greater idea behind this Field Study is that a common collective knowledge about the world enables us to communicate, to make informed decisions about many aspects of our lives, to understand and to participate fully as informed citizens with curiosity and open minded enthusiasm about the world around us. This will be achieved by developing a broader understanding or what things in this world might be, instead of enforcing the typical existing paradigms.

Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, Yeti, and half a dozen other names around the world, is an alleged apelike animal said to inhabit remote forests in North America, with many of the better known sightings occurring in the Pacific Northwest of the United States and British Columbia, Canada. Bigfoot is sometimes described as a large, hairy bipedal hominoid, and many believe that this animal, or its close relatives, may be found around the world under different regional names, such as the Yeti of Tibet and Nepal. Bigfoot is one of the Most famous examples of cryptozoology.
According to most eyewitness accounts, Bigfoot is a large, powerfully built bipedal apelike creature between 7 and 9 feet tall, and covered in dark brown or dark reddish hair. The head seems to sit directly on the shoulders, with no apparent neck. Witnesses have described large eyes, a pronounced brow ridge, and a large, low-set forehead; the top of the head has been described as rounded and crested, similar to the sagittal crest of the male gorilla, with very Human-like features.
Bigfoot is also known for emitting a foul and pungent odor, and communicates by a series of loud howls, screeches and tree knocks.
