Big George's recent ill health -
Big George recently suffered a mild stroke and as a result all of the gigs that we were due to play have now been canceled. Please note that he is walking wounded at the moment, he has been lucky in that the stroke has not severely disabled him as it does others and he now requires a period of rest and recuperation. - 11th June 2008.

Big George and the Business are a four piece Blues Rock Band from Glasgow, Scotland. Over the years the band has developed from a 3 piece to even a 7 piece band at one time. At the present the band is in it’s most successful and talented line-up, Consisting of Big George (George Ross Watt) on Guitar and Vocals, Shifty (Tam McLucas) on Bass, Tommy (Fingers) McIntyre on Piano and Keyboards and Gregg (Orbit) Orr on Drums.
With 3 studio albums, 2 live albums and 20 years of experience of touring the western world, BGB have rock ‘n’ rolled their audiences, leaving them with memories of been blown away by the sheer intensity and passion of the show.

Just saw a mind blowing idea from the organisers of Carlisle Blues Fetival amongst your comments...and it made me think what if George did play at Carlisle Blues Fetival...and we were lucky enough to see that? I'm just sitting here keeping my fingers well and truly crossed on that one a sit would be unmissable.

Your cover of " You Can't Always Get What You Want " was amazing as was the stuff I guess that was your own ( or maybe other covers ). I'd never heard of the latter but it blew my mind :)
