In fact, Bigger Bang Records has been there since 2007. But only since a short time ago, the label, Jena and Berlin based, has been presenting itself to an ever growing public. Bigger Bang stands for its meaning, the music is heavy and brute, uncompromising, self-assured, it’s Electro, it’s House, but also Funk, modern and pure spree.
They sloppily describe their own style as sod-it-disco for uncompromising party sods, not cautious, not correct, not underground, there is no message but: please dance, even better, freak out!

Electro, House, Funk, Disco, Rock and HipHop are assembled to become screamingly gaudy music, which hasn’t got a name so far. It always sounds as if the CD would just be skipping. Single tracks often consist of tiny sound snippets, which seem to be put together at random. But behind their construction there is, in fact, a fine art, proved not least by the fact that it never sounds difficult or abstract despite all the stumbling and stammering.
Despite the consistent sound aesthetics Bigger Bang Records allows a large scope of styles. Jamez Renard exhausts the principle House, Mario Rönsch polishes something similar to Electro Rock. As regards the incredibly noisy Act MIDIphil, iTunes can think of nothing but " not to be classified ".

They concentrate on the essential things, in the foreground there is the passion for music. They act the purpose, when the competitors try to be outstanding by experimenting. Pop or Underground? They don't give a fuck. The difference is in the vehemence with which they go at it. The aim is to wow people, to produce euphoria and having fun themselves while doing it, all the time and at any price!
