|
Adam Biggs (aka Biggsounds Productions) is a sound engineer operating on the Far North Coast of New South Wales. By specialising in Jazz, Funk, R&B and Acoustic acts, Adam has built a reputation grounded in a professional attitude, quality equipment, great ears and not being a "rock" soundguy.
A specific focus for the past couple of years has been on producing recordings from live shows - all recorded "on the night" using a digital multitrack rig and mixed later to a professional standard in the studio. Artists to take advantage of this service include internationally renowned performers such as:
Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band); Jeff Lang; Zulya & the Children of the Underground; Elizabeth Carthew; Elana Stone; The Rockpool (including members of 10CC, Crossfire, as well as Pete Murray and Cliff Richard's touring bands);Leigh Carriage and Jim Kelly (The Thrillseekers, DeVolv, and Crossfire), as well as "Young Lions" Sally Marrett, Aurora Jane, and Andy Jans-Brown among others.
As well as being the resident engineer at the highly regarded Lismore Jazz and Blues club run by Jules Kelly of Jazz in the Countryside, Adam has been one the key engineers involved with the North Coast Jazz Festival since it's inception, and has worked with a diverse range of national artists such as Jackie Orsazcky, Tina Harrod, AfroDizzyAct, The Hands, The Hottentots; Lisa Hunt and many others.
