Starting with only limited pocket-money for resources and his own near-obsessive drive, he has managed to: independently sell a more-than-respectable amount of units, gain airplay in several markets, be featured on projects alongside some of his genre's most renowned artists, gain respect as a seasoned battle competitor and champion, run a very successful events-promotion company, be featured in all areas of media and press for his various abilities and, serve as a manager and advisor for other area artists.
An accomplished writer and poet, even when his lyrics are heavily punchline-based, he is able to hit his listeners with a sharp jolt to their collective hearts. It has been noted by A & R's and veterans of the industry that he has the "it factor" working for him; as, his stage presence and ability to work both crowds and cameras are beyond compare. His YouTube videos (despite his ability to circulate them in the way that he had originally intended) have shown plenty of hip hop fans - in need of instant gratification - what jaw-dropping lyricism and entertainment is, by definition. For many years, he has also been a "ghostwriter" for many MC's, R & B Vocalists and Rock bands. Before doing his time in the streets and attempting to make his way and a living for his children, he was raised in recording studios and band practices so, it is natural that when his influences are reflected from his own art, they range from hip hip to blues to soul; and, everything in between.
Currently, Bigg Verb DaVinci has wrapped up recording what will surely be a groundbreaking album: "Live From....Reality". Shrouded in secrecy, one of the artist's liasons has said that the project..."speaks to people in the way that only the greats' projects have; while still remaining completely entertaining. In Verb's own words, 'this is my opus...the album that I was meant to make as a gift to those who have had to battle through life and who simply need a bit of motivation and entertainment, to get them through their days'.
The large collection of songs will be a FREE DOWNLOAD; available very soon. For the time being, Bigg Verb DaVinci's MySpace.com page will serve as his way of communicating with his fans; as well as, giving them delectable portions of what is soon to come; the first of which is "Everyday People".
Vowing to "Bring Emotion and Truth Back to Urban Music", Bigg Verb DaVinci will be interacting, globally, with fans and potential collaborators until he is the most well-known and rightfully-respected artist in the genre that he holds so dear.
