What's good people? My name is Kraze-1, and I currently manage the Illegal Art Network/Boycott Nation, which was formed in 2007 in Philadelphia, PA by a group of friends and independent artists who are striving to revive Hip Hop. Boycott Nation Co-founders Jose "Joey Caraz" Carasquillo and Lee Jason, a.k.a. "The Voice", along with Illegal Art Network artists Lyrical, Sunny Black, Strugz and producers Full Volume Productions and Strophic all share the common dream of one day seeing Hip Hop restored to its highest level. The Boycott Nation is attempting to pull Hip Hop out of the state of emergency that plagues the genre by combining the tight lyrics spit by Joey Caraz, Sunny Black and Strugz with the seductive vocals of Lyrical, all over hypnotizing beats by Strophic and Full Volume Productions. The Network prides itself on versatility, with each member having the ability to cross over to other genres in order to make beautiful, real music. With a fan base that is increasing on a daily basis thanks to portals such as internet radio, YouTube and MySpace, the Illegal Art Network & Boycott Nation have already taken their first steps towards uniting the world of Hip Hop and starting the revolution that will revive Hip Hop and hopefully restore the love that many have lost for the genre.
