I love the out doors. The mountains are my favorite but, I love the water also. I love family and animals of course.I like to write and create things but I never have the time it seems. I like hiking and swimming even though I am a little out of shape right now.I like motor bikes but, I don't know a lot about them but I would like to learn.I really like art-full things and now maybe I will have a little more time to enjoy them.I also like hearing interesting stories about other places and people.So if anyone would like to comment on some of these things, feel free to be a friend, but my family will always be tops with me.
Music
I like almost any kind of music out there except a lot of what I call screaming music. I like religious,soul,jazz,the 20's to now,and yes even some rap.I like American Indian,music from Japan and of course,Irish music.I will say I really like Green Day,The Irish Rovers,Flogging Molly,Match Box 20,Marty Robbins,(specially the cowboy songs),Queen,The Doors,The 12 Stones,Asleep at the Wheel, and Cure for Caska(which is a new band on its way up.)Check them out.
Movies
I really like comedy. I think it is good to be able to laugh at things and our selves and try as much as you can to be happy.I can also sit down and watch Underworld,All the Blade movies,The Mummy Movies,Powder and many others.I like a lot of old movies because I think you can see a lot of our past in some of those films. I don't like porn and a few other type but it is hard to find many movies I do not like. I have always enjoyed a lot of Irish movies through out my life.(probably due to my late DA's love for the Irish and for movies)and I think you might enjoy them with your families: Specially dear to me is Darby O'Gill and the Little People,Brigadoon,Angels with Diry Faces,Gentleman Jim,The Fighting Sullivan,Yankee Doodle Dandy,and the Quiet Man. Those being some of the classics.Also a lot of others that are good too.Like Gangs of New York,Killer Instinct,The Departed,The Secret of Roan Inish,Road to Perdition,Far&Away,The Devil's Own,My Left Foot,Vendetta(Irish Eyes),The Ghost in the Darkness,Mystic River,DareDevil,Cinderella Man,Ned Kelly and never forget The Boondock Saints. Two others that were from TV are Studs Lonigan and The Black Donnellys. I like a lot of Western movies too like Tombstone,Silverado,and Butch Casady and Sundown with Robert Redford (my long time love in the movies)in Jeremiah Johnson of course and others.
I like comedy of course like- My wife and kids,The 70's show,The World according to Jim,Two and a half men,Also Pushing up Daisies.I like a few drama type also like all of the CSI shows,Brothers and Sisters,Dirty Sexy Money,House,and specially Cold Case.I do like a lot of Cartoons I must say to be honest.I like Family Guy very much.I really just watch just about anything that looks good at the time.

westerns,I am specially fond of The Sackett series.I of course love stories from the Bible.I like books that you learn about nature and strange but true stories. I do like Civil War stories, and also stories about our brave soldiers then and now.They can teach us a lot about people in this world.
Heroes
Well lets see. My heroes of course have to be my parents most of all. They have been through so much but still seem to keep hanging in there for each other after 51 years even with my father being sick with Cancer and my mother not doing real well. They still seem to help their childern and love each other. Me being a mother I know that takes a lot of strenth.So yes they are my hero's most of all.(JUST A NOTE HERE: AS OF JUNE 30,2007,MY POOR DA PASSED AWAY WITH MY MOM BY HIS BEDSIDE HOLDING A FRAGILE REMINDER OF WHAT WERE ONCE MIGHTY HANDS THAT WORKED HARD AND GAVE COMFORT TO HIS FAMILY).It took two kinds of Cancers to take the old man out.He was as tuff as they come as was his brother before him.My mom's strength in this matter has also shown me anything is possible

Next I guess I would say my other family members that have managed to help me when I needed it. Which is a hero to me for someone to be there when you need help.My sons are big heroes to me because they are faceing hard times again about some one they loved and they are still trying to go on and pull through the bad times to get to the good side of things. I also think parents and children alike with sick family members (no matter how old they are ) that have to get up and act like everything is OK. in the world are heroes.Next there are the hero teens in this world today that stand their ground against the wrongs in this world like smoking, taking drugs, and drinking before driving, are heroes. A lot of us older people seem to forget how hard it is to stand your ground againest everyone else around you.For sure I must mention those who care for the helpless animals of this world they were put here on this earth to comfort us and help us and in return we are to take care of them not hurt them. After all we are supposed to be the higher beings of this world even though sometimes it is hard to tell that we are by our actions.
About me: I am a 51year old woman who is a proud mother of 3 wonderful boys and the aunt to 16 wonderful nieces and nephews. I have finished my divorce now,but I am still finding it hard to start over after 22 years of marriage,but I am getting by with the help of God,my boys,and family.Like most Americans I am over weight, but I am working on it so my health is better.I have forgotten about myself for so long due to many different things in my life the last 100 years or so.LOL. I am afraid it will take a long while to get back,but I will do it.I live in a small town in FL. and I work as a receptionist. I am used to hard labor jobs but they are trying to teach an old dog some new tricks. I started on myspace because my boys said I might enjoy it, and I have.I have found new friends and even old friends I haven't heard from in years. So here I am. I would like to say about me that I am young, athletic, and smart,but that would be a lie. What I can say is I love to laugh and to hear interesting stories about other people and their lives so please feel free to stop by and talk or leave messages.
