About me:
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket We are Rowan Michael Davie and Emma Schofield. Two artists with big dreams. For us, theatre that challenges and asks the audience to engage in something bigger than everyone in the room can be one of the most profound gifts you can ever receive. Live exchange of energies, hearts, ideas and passions have broken through our own barriers, and we are here to create this experience for you, the audience. If you'll have us. ;)

Calling all SHOW PONIES!

Brisbane Festival is seeking innovative and experimental theatre makers and artists to submit expressions of interest to be a part of “BF08 under the radar”: a celebration of new work, rebellion, adventure and discovery.

BF08 under the radar is Brisbane Festival’s 10 day fringe, exposing the undiscovered talents of young, adventurous and anarchic theatre artists. It will be presented within Brisbane Festival 2008 at Metro Arts in Brisbane, Australia from Friday 25 July - Sunday 3 August 2008.

Submissions close 5pm 7 December 2007. Applications will be considered by a selection committee of industry practitioners. Applicants will be notified in February 2008.

Successful artists will receive 100% of box office takings, venue hire, a season of 5-6 performances showcased alongside some of the worlds’ best artists and much much more.

To find out more and for an application form go to www.brisbanefestival.com.au
or contact Fiona or Jillian at www.myspace.com/bf08utr or undertheradar@brisbanefestival.com.au

dearest emma and rowan,

i am so sorry this is so brief, i promise to write you both an email soon.

i just wanted to tell you that when i read your emails about your travels, my heart fills to the brim with a delightful cocktail or pure joy and of course a dash of jelousy. i am so proud of you both. i wish you all the best in Edinburgh and i wish i was there with you all to see great theatre and music and get completely hammered at the pub.

i will never find housemates as wonderful as the two of you (although i love carly dearly). and i miss you more than you know.

take care, i will write soon

love always xxx

btw - thanks for your 'KIND' words, kiddies.

May 18 2007 1:20 AM

hey ro!

thanks for your kids words man! Yeah unfortunately it seems that our paths never crossed enough to have a proper conversation about cool stuff like existentialism or contemp. performance theory!! I am glad my tunes got you going though. That is good to hear.

Your company sounds fantastic man! And your doing some amazing things so
power to ya. I am kicking along back in Bris - working for Imaginary Theatre making performances for kids and writing grants. Also freelancing sound design a bit- would love to be doing more though.

I also got a job at the Judy doing FOH - it's a dream.

Enjoy the Scottish summer and safe travels.

Peace.
