This music is not about music per se, it is not a study in songwriting or production or studio playing...it has ONE AND ONLY ONE PURPOSE...to lift up THE NAME OF JESUS and to present HIS NAME and His gospel of grace to people who are hurting and in need of what he has...which is salvation, love, healing, redemption, restoration, acceptance, mercy and understanding. Everybody needs all of that, whether they know it or not. This music is just another way to find out about the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS!! You might not know what church to visit(see the blogs for more information...there are links)maybe not want to watch a preacher on TV, or read a gospel tract, might not even have a bible to read, but you sure can listen to this music and wrap your mind and eventually your heart around the concept that God loves you very deeply and Jesus came to save you, and is as close to you as the very breath you breathe! I am Chuck Snow. Some of my musical friends have taken to calling me "Doc", because my "day" job is in the medical field. I am not a physician. The record, "Pray For Me", nine songs in all, is an interesting departure, in that I am not a performing musician. I am not well-suited to it. There are very few people in this world who have ever seen me sit down and play and sing a song from end to end. I do what I can, even if my singing and playing are limited. I am a songwriter. If you seek spiritual help, if you are sick and hurting, this music can and will help you!! I have some good reports back that it has blessed people, some in unexpected ways. The message is a good one, and the musical vehicle is good also. The folks who helped me so much with this project are talented and very gracious. They know and God knows who they are, and they will be blessed for doing it!! I hope you are encouraged by this music, and motivated to seek God while there is still time to do so! God has many ways to touch a heart, perhaps if you give a listen He will touch yours today!

I wrote all the words and composed the music, and supervised the recording production. Ray Reach did the production and recording at his "working" studio. I sing the vocal on the last song on the record, "Radio Blues".

We're all over the map here, from folkish sounding things to hard blues, power anthems, old-school R&B with big horns, country with an edge, slow, soft and dreamy ballads.....all of it with a moral or a message that has to do with spirituality.
