Thomas Hardinger

Borned in Fort Payne, Alabama on October 6, 1950. Graduated from Fyffe High School in Fyffe, Al. in 1968 then jumped on the 1st Greyhound bus to Chicago, Illinois where my Dad help me get a job working for Metalcraft Corporation (Metalcraft later became Intercraft Industries Corp.)

Drafted into the U.S. Army in 1969 and was actually inducted in 1970, spent the next 19 months in Fort Bragg, N.C. expecting to go to Viet Nam where I would probably die. When that didn't happen I returned to Chicago in Jan. of 1972 where I spent the next 23 years working in various trucking company management jobs. Divorced my 1st wife in 1974 and married Carol on December 3, 1977.

We now have 3 fantastic children and 3 amazing grandsons. I finally got my Computer Science Degree from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Ca. in June of 2002 at the young age of 51.


Currently I am self employeed as an Intermodal Truck Transportation Broker, giving my self the title of Vice President of Big Rigs Inc. (Carol is President) and I work with Carol from home in Simi Valley, Ca.


I enjoy shooting pool and am presently an APA skill level 6 in 8 ball and a 7 in 9 ball.
I like to play racquet ball, table tennis and chess plus I used to like to ride my 1982 Honda Goldwing on the back roads and in the mountains of Southern California and occasionally along the beaches by the Pacific. I had to sell it just to make ends meet, but that is a temporary thing I hope. I will get another one some day...I like that new 2007 Honda Sabre (1300cc Cruiser)....when the money is right I'll find another bike!
Now I am back in school at CLU working on my Masters in Computer Science. It is hard but interesting.
