The Big Sauce Radio Show is hosted by me! Born in the Brass City (Waterbury, CT) now living in the heart of South Beach, my life's journey has been anything but ordinary. I am a true rolling stone that gathers no moss, I am confident you'll find my knowledge and experiences entertaining, insightful, educational, and at times, just plain hilarious.
Performing has been in my blood since birth. My dad was a keyboard player for a funk & soul band in the 60’s & 70’s. My first emcee gig occurred when I was in just the seventh grade! I introduced a song as ‘guest DJ’ at a school dance and the flame was ignited. I spent the majority of the 80’s & 90’s performing at nightclubs and private events while simultaneously writing, voicing, and producing radio commercials for local Connecticut radio stations.
As I spent his evenings and weekends entertaining, I was busily toiling away at many other initiatives. I completed
a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, followed by an MBA in Management, all while working in the corporate
world as an IT project manager & tekkie geek in the insurance industry in Hartford. Eventually I founded a technology consulting firm in the mid 90’s. As an added bonus, I double-moonlighted as a college professor teaching technology classes at a local community college and owned a down-home little sports bar with a dance floor. But my desire for a career in radio was smoldering and between 2004 & 2005, I sold everything, got married and moved to Miami!!! It was here on the sunny sands of South Beach that the Big Sauce Radio Show was born.
Currently, besides hosting the show, I am a technology manager for a large corporate retailer. In addition, I spend an inordinate amount of time reading, researching and investing in the stock market with a primary focus on the precious & base metals sector, global economic development, and currency trends.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoy the lifestyle in South Beach!!!
