Big Sinn wrapping up work on new album
Los Angeles, CA – The ruling will soon be in. “Cased Closed Heart II Da Streetz Vol. 1” is soon to hand down the final verdict in underground hip-hop. Big Sinn has announced that the mixing and mastering process is under way and the album will be rattling clubs and streets in the near future.
Night spots had better be built for earthquakes. When tracks from the upcoming album, such as the lead singles "Talkin Money" and “Presidential,” begin rumbling speakers, the walls are apt to do a fine imitation of Jericho. “Presidential” presents the loud, high-energy side of Big Sinn (a versatile artist who is just as capable of creating smooth, R&B-based hip-hop tracks such as Bring you Home in which he sings the Hook and Spits true smoothness to the ladies).
“Presidential” is a big-boned, groove-heavy, hard-hooked club banger. Rousing beats, massive melodies and bigger-than-life lyrical delivery make this one a dance floor smasher.
The song is produced by Big Sinn cohort 50 CAL and boasts co-performer J-Easy, another Sinn associate.
The tune’s mother album, “Heart II Da Streetz Vol. 1,” is a testament to what Big Sinn can do. It’s a musical call to arms for Sinn’s compatriots and indisputable evidence for his detractors. “A lot of haters and people who doubt my skill level … Since I am doing something with myself now, people feel like I lost my street cred.”
“Heart II Da Streetz” puts a lethal end to such assertions.
Big Sinn already has plenty of musical experience under his belt. He kicked off his efforts at music-making before he was even a teenager. While living in Brooklyn, he was inspired by hip-hop to make his own efforts at contributing to the scene. He began to write in the mid-90s while involved in gang culture. A move to Chicago and enlistment in the military “got my stuff straight” but didn’t quell his desire to create rap songs. Upon his return from Iraq and Afghanistan, he started his own label, Street Workz Entertainment.
Now, a growing fan base is proving his efforts were worthwhile. For Big Sinn, that’s the best payoff. “I love the fans that I have already and I welcome all the fans I hope to have.”
