About me:
BIG SMASH! MUSIC SCENE is a weekly series devoted entirely to films about music that will be taking place at the Winnipeg Cinematheque every Thursday night starting March 13th.
Join us every Thursday at the Cinematheque(100 Arthur St. in the Artspace Bldg in the Exchange)where you can see a different music-related film for only $5 admission! From Canadian premieres to classic rock-docs and obscure in-house compilations, from punk and prog to free-jazz and country, The Big Smash! Music Scene has something for every inclination.
The original BIG SMASH! was a 5-day film festival that happened in Vancouver in April 2006 with Wreckless Eric and Paul Williams in person. All Big Smash! events are curated by Kier-La Janisse.
