Big Star Records has been one of Scandinavia’s leading labels for dance music since the label was established in 1999.
The very first release on Big Star Records was Southside Spinners “Luvstruck” that went straight to 1 in the Scandinavian Charts and stayed in the top 100 for more than 60 weeks.
The first five Big Star releases all reached 1 in the Scandinavian charts, and a successful label was born. A wide range of artists representing various genres and styles of music have been featured on Big Star - spanning from trance to house to commercial cross over pop-dance artists and also underground techno and electro releases.
