Big Street m.p. released their first record "Acoustic kindergarten" in February 2007 and their new cd "The tree of life" in October 2008, and have thus far received a lot of excellent feedback for the songs, Stay and Mercy remix (radio edit) from several radio stations in the U.K, Australia, California, The Netherlands, and Japan just to mention a few. The style is a mix of acoustic pop, smooth jazz, westcoast music and soul. If you like those styles you will hear their influences. But their debut cd also shows that they have developed their own uniquely recognisable style with blending musicianship. Most of the musicians have studied at the University of Music in Göteborg and been working as part time freelancers. Musicians that are included in Big street m.p. are:
Joel Hagen - saxophone, flute
Tobias Hedlund - cajon, percussion
Viktor Olofsson - guitars, vocals
Isak Widmark - drums, percussion, guitars, bass, vocals....
Kristian Selan - guitars, vocals
Martin Sundström - bass
Johan Brengesjö - trumpet
Magnus Sjölander - saxophone
Jonathan Gustavsson - trumpet
Fredrik Lyden - guitar
Mckey - drums, vocals
Johan Thelin - bass (on the song Stay)
Henrik Oscarsson - keyboards (on the song Stay)

Hello Kristian! How are you?? I know, it's been a while since I wrote you last time, but I had a very difficult year, with many exams. The last year of highschool is always hard, but everything is over now, I enrolled in college and now I'm on vacation :)
Hi Guys. Just stopping by to say hello. It's been a long time. How are things in Sweden? I'm starting on a European tour in December/January and I don't know yet if Sweden is on the list of gigs. Would be cool to meet in person.

Thank you for a message and is glad at all. You will come to Japan next week and play it in Kansai area. I want to watch your performance, too, but cannot go to watch it because I live in the considerably remote area. I pray for success of your Japan Tour, and please enjoy Japan.
