My modern favorites are any person or band that utilizes plunderphonics and / or noise in their music and anyone who uses any object for anything other than its intended use in order to make sounds with it. Among the best at this are: Animals Within Animals, Negativland, Bobby Vomit, Stallio!, People Like Us, Wobbly, Any and all women from Women Take Back The Noise, plus probably hundreds more I can't think of right now. |
