Arlan Gibson - singer, songwriter, guitarist, frontman.
The band, led by Gibson, is made up of a variety of talented, professional musicians from around the Atlanta metro area and the South. Big Swig is generally booked as a three-piece consisting of guitar, bass and drums. When budget allows, additional instrumentation such as pedal steel, fiddle and keys are available.
Big Swig, a honky-tonkin', rock 'n' rollin', good time, was established in 1999 by veteran musician, Arlan Gibson. A Mississippi born and county-raised country boy, Gibson came to Atlanta in 1989 to pursue a music career. In 1999, after 10 years as a professional singer, songwriter and guitarist playing the Southeast and abroad in a variety of bands, Gibson decided to pursue his long-time goal of creating and fronting his own band. The result is Big Swig, an experienced, professional, cover and original band that plays to all. The band's "traditional meets alt-country" sound is a roadhouse blend of influences by the legends and modern icons of country and southern rock.
Since its inception, Big Swig has entertained thousands of fans at hundreds of gigs at a multitude of venues and locations. They include classy joints, trendy bars, honky-tonks, festivals, colleges, private residences, corporate locations, country clubs, backyards, mountain tops and pastures among others. Big Swig is a full-service, self-contained, travel-ready unit committed to providing entertainment at the highest standard.

Thanks for the add. Looking forward to you guys playing in my neck of the woods at Lake Tobo on April 25th. at the "Fish N'Pig". Great place to eat. You can't go wrong with the grouper and the alligator. Great combination...
