Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, BTR was often referred to as the hardest working band in Christian music. Touring year-round, they covered the entire USA and much of the free world. Once monickered, "The Southern Thunder Devil Stompers," Wiggins and crew melded acoustic folk, Memphis-style blues, and in-your-face rock'n'roll — all while pointing toward the Savior of the world. While they never officially broke up, the band has been on a permanent hiatus pursuing different callings. You'll find Steve Wiggins leading worship at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California; Spence Smith is with Compassion International in charge of Artist Relations; Randy Williams plays guitar with Jeremy Camp; Steve Dale plays bass with Little Big Town; and Dave Alan is Creative Director for Brentwood Baptist Church, Brentwood, Tennessee.
