Influences
influence begins at birth, for example Steve was influenced by his aunts singing gospel songs at famly reunions. Led Zepplin, Larry Welborn, Elvis, as well anything he experiences throughout the day. Joey and Dustin (theTucker bros.) are influenced by a lifetime of growing up as sons of sucessful country musician. Dr. Dave's greatest influences come from the great early country and rock n roll legends.

Big Whiskey Band started in October 2001, before that Steve and Joey were playing under the name Pure Tradition. Later drums and new vocals were added and the band got Big Whiskeyed. They have played at various locations in Oklahoma and Texas and have opened for Mel McDaniel, Gene Watson and Exile, who are all Grammy winners.The members of the band are second generation musicians which explains the style and traditions of the bands wild and sometimes misunderstood anticts.........Big Whiskey "it's a state of mind"....
