BWaTS, or Big Woody and the Splinters, is a local band from Columbus, Ga. Established in late 1998, with a few friends, and former friends. The band was meant to be a stepping stone into a new realm of ideas and music. It has taken several turns over the years, only to keep rocking and rolling. The idea was to put together a group of seasoned veteran musicians that had the same objective in mind. Play great music, as well as we could.
When we first put the act together we only wanted to do music that satisfied our own musical interests, But then we kept the idea that other more interesting songs could be done as well. So we kept learning things that challenged the talent end as well as the ones that kept your gig. We hope that your interest in our group is stemmed from the music as well as the talent. Even the song list we put out is a testament to our commitment.
