I left a silver Raleigh C40 (??? I forget the exact style) locked up on a meter in the parking lot South of Mangia Italiano last night and it was gone when I went back for it this morning.
It's got some miles on it, so its a little scratched up, has 26-inch wheels, a rope, combination lock, a rear light and rack on the back.
Some of you may remember watching the all-too-dramatic commercials on a local newschannel suggesting that City Museum was going to close. Those rumors weren't true then, and they aren't true now.
City Museum was worried that our visitors would be duped-but they weren't. Our supporters came out in hoards. The blog on the local television station was bombarded with statements of support. A Facebook group to save City Museum was created-and is still multiplying. The group currently boasts over 8,500+ members. CM is blown away by the support, and we want to thank you.
On May 21st, City Museum will host the "Fight for Your Right to Slide" party. This evening will be filled with food, drinks, and live music--for all of our biggest fans. Keep checking the website for more information, or join the Facebook group.
Again, we at City Museum could not be more thankful for your support and we hope to see you right here for years to come.

I'm making a poster to celebrate the 3 years of fiascos in May. It's going to be a long thin banner poster with all the fiasco spoke cards on it, lifesize. I was just going to give them away but found out it was too much money to print them. SO, I'm gonna make myself one and anyone else who ever made a spoke card one. If you ever made a fiasco spoke card - let me know. If anyone else is interested, it looks like it'll be 20 bucks and you have to get me the money before I print them. If yer interested, email me at joe_deko@email.com. I may have some free smaller ones like 11x17 at the ride that night as well.
Sorry dudes, Black Mountain is playing that night.
You are all more than welcome to come to my fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society next Friday. There will be wine, you can bring more, and it is bike-related.
