Pretty eclectic there. My iTunes looks like a music store exploded. I'm into everything from Prince to death metal. Favorite bands? Radiohead, RHCP, U2, Parliament/Funkadelic, Dixie Chicks. As long as the artist is real and cares about their ART I'll give it a chance. No EMO. There's nothing rock and roll about being a whiny little wussy.
Television
TV is the opiate of the masses. To quote Anthony Kiedis---

GIVE UP YOUR TV! It's poisoning your mind, and it's a tool used by the powers that be to influence you and turn you into a mindless sheep.
It's really a propaganda tool.
Books
I read a lot of nonfiction. Last good book I read was "The Long Emergency", by James Howard Kuntsler. It's about our dependency on oil, and what could happen when our demand finally outstrips our supply. You can give yourself a pretty decent education if you just read the right books.
About me: Bikes, reading, cats, politics, not necessarily in that order. Gave up TV months ago and it's the best thing I've ever done. Reading is fundamental. Life is like a garden, dig it?
