Whew, 3 years in the making and nearly complete, ART's Bike Map of Sarasota is scheduled to be printed in early Spring 2009. Dozens of volunteers have donated hundreds of hours. Blue Line Inc. (link) has donated demo maps, displayed in our local bike shops (Trek, Fastrack, Village Bikes, Sarasota Bicycle Center--all links), to help get the word out:
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Our goal is to raise the money needed to bring 10,000 copies of these maps to the community for FREE and to provide ART with the start up funds to re-open our community bike shop!! We are aiming to raise $7,500 for A.R.T.-please help however you can--every dollar counts.Support Sarasota Community: Vote SCOPE's Summit for Environmental Action as one of your favorites for the "Make it Your Own Awards"
