Four guys playing music barefoot out on the street, having the time of their lives.
Bikeweather is an acoustic punk band, but more importantly, a collective of three unique friends who are interested in working creatively to produce original creations in a DIY way. Bikeweather believes that people shouldn't have to pay for music, but rather that money should be given to labels and bands by listeners' own volition to allow them to continue to create more interesting and better things. Bikeweather may not perform often as a band, but all the members, even while in different cities, are constantly working to not only create and produce their own projects, but to help and inspire those around them while being helped and inspired by those same people. Bikeweather is a group of friends that love each other and love music and art and the idea that anyone can create something special and unique given the time and motivation. Below you will find the projects that the Bikeweather collective is and has worked on, in addition to the history of bikeweather as a band. Contact us, because we love making connections with others who work creatively.

Bikeweather: A History Part I:
On Wednesday, April 20th 2005, Chris and Russ first met, and were introduced by Adam. That day, we took Adam's acoustic guitar to the riverfront in Newburgh, IN, where Chris played, while Adam and Russ danced, and Russ made up lyrics and sang them. Adam wrote them down, and Bikeweather was born. We played our two songs walking down the street, singing as loudly as possible. Then we drove to the mall parking lot, and played our songs there. Then we drove to downtown Evansville, by the riverfront, where we played to anyone who happened to pass by. We tried to get strangers to sing the lyrics to Hey Ya with us. We had a great time. We happened to have a tape recorder that night, and what you hear here is us by the river that night, singing our hearts out.
Part II:
One blustery Tuesday, crazyemoPat and Isaac drove upwards (which is what we call North) the forty-one, roaring in a dragon of a Honda (sans exhaust pipe). After much noise and about forty-five minutes, we arrived in Vincennes. We took a guitar and mandolin out to a shelter by the Wabash, and started a fire. Chris and Isaac made noise like music and later Isaac challenged Pat to a karate sparring match. The books say crazyemoPat was the victor, but those who were there know the truth...At any rate, the po-pos showed up and ruined all our fun. Through common love of punk and hatred of the fuzz, a bond was forged. When Isaac returned to Evansville, he got together with Adam at a playgound in Newburgh and they wrote Double Dare. Then Russ came over and met the two at the house where Isaac lived, and they sang really loud in the living room. The rest, as they say, is history.
