Bilharzia infernal beginning starts in 1995 with Asrol (drums), Che-Mie(lead guitar)Anuar(lead guitar) as founding members. And they recruited Shahruliz for vocals. Since the beginning of the band, Bilharzia never had a bass player, after 2years they invite Joe to take the position on bass. Bilharzia bringing death metal concept with the inspiration of Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Terrorizer, Napalm death, Torturer, Monstrosity and other field of death metal. On 1998,Bilharzia suffers a major line-up problem with 3 members left the band. Che-Mie, Shahruliz and Joe decide to quit due to personal problem and other commitment. Not long after that Fadzley join the band and take over vocals till now. The band performs the music and move onwards with 3 people. In 2years Bilharzia never have a bass player until in 2000 Megat join and took over bass. Since 1995-2000 Bilharzia only did 1 show and never had any released. In 2001 Bilharzia meet Shah of MISERY RECORDS,that time the band were jamming in a studio so Shah talks with the band and interested to released an EP tape. Couple of month after that Bilharzia record the ep title Blood fluke at Trinity studio Ipoh, the line-up for the recording is: Anuar: -Lead guitar, Asrol: drums, Fadzley: vocal and Megat: bass. In the same year, not long after the ep recording, the were given opportunity to play a Metal fest entitled Ipoh Anthems Loundblast organized by Last Chapter Movement. So the band needs a second lead guitarist, so the band found Amir, he was invite to join the band and take over 2nd lead guitar. The band played some gigs around Malaysia , Thailand and Singapore. This year Megat leave the band due personal commitment. The band still looking for right candidate handling bass and the current line-up is Asrol-drums, Anuar-lead guitar, Fadzley-vocals and Amir-lead guitar. 2004,the band also did a concept change with the new style..
2007-2008
Shadredza and Nordin are new additional lineup replacing Fadzley and Megat,Shahredza on vocals while Nordin on bass.The band did 2 shows in 2008.At the moment the band is finalizing the 3 latest tracks for the upcoming promo cd.With the new songs totally different from the bloodfluke ep also all the lyrics written in Malay,this is the new direction for the band coming up with original idea and concept.Prepare to be annihilate!
