...... ..foreshadows.com.. .. .. ....Bilian.... ..is the musical project and artistic persona of New York producer and musician, William Ian Jaws. .. Professionally known as Bilian, (also seen to appear as 1000000000, Billion, Billian (..sic..), etc.), William has been working and performing in clubs, studios, & on stage for almost two decades. Having shown an early interest in art and music, William began ten years of professional drum lessons at the young age of 5 years old. As a frustrated and rebellious teenager, William then quit his weekly lessons and discovered that he could easily drum along to his favorite electronic and rock CD's. Soon William was spending more time than ever immersed in music and eventually moved on to develop his own music-making with training in voice and tonal instruments, while also learning to write and record his own songs. Throughout honing his skills mixing live bands, paying his dues assisting at local recording studios and going to school to study recording engineering, most weekends would find young William at the goth-industrial dance clubs where he spun and mixed his favorite records to the delight of the crowd, and forged his name as DJ Bilian. Bilian's many DJ gigs exposed thousands of people to the best industrial, electronic and darkwave music these genres had to offer. .. Around the same time, Bilian began gigging with the first of several bands, and would go on to assume the duties of lead vocalist (..Nomenclature.., ..Christ Cage..), bass guitar (..Nomenclature..) and drums (..I, Parasite..). .. Although his DJ and musical talents have been featured at many clubs & venues in the eastern United States, Bilian has also created a history of self-produced recordings that are great accomplishments in themselves. His early projects, '..Carved Insane..: ..Pain Junkie..' and '..Nomenclature..: ..Storms In Time..', both containing all original material written mainly by Bilian, were first presented simply as demos until listeners and even critics accepted them as finished albums. Throughout his years of performance and recordings, Bilian became widely known for his dynamic musical prowess, intense stage presence, & imaginative writing & imagery. His diverse songwriting influences, ranging from heavy electronic rock to classical, further explains his strong focus on musical architecture & the raw, unyielding expression he presents in his music. .. Showing no signs of stopping, these days see Bilian continuing to write and release his own self-produced music, writing and producing for projects as Artistic Director for the international collaborative group ..The Very Us Artists.., sound-designing for pc games and remixing acts such as ..Apex Mind.. and ..Leaether Strip... Bilian's latest release, a dancefloor-filling cover of the ..Pussycat Dolls..' '..When I Grow Up..', can be heard in clubs from Hamburg to Cozumel. .. While ever-expanding the possibilities with the constant evolution of his production studio, Bilian is driven to bring listeners his best. With the production of several future releases in the works, including a vast amount of original, cover and soundtrack material, there is much, much more to come... ......Stay Tuned!.... .. ...... .. ....::Click above for Carved Insane: Pain Junkie Available @ CD Baby::.... .. ...."DJ Bilian made a name for himself on Long Island as an industrial DJ. Now he has released a new project called Carved Insane... 'Pain Junkie' is a good first offering...it is very impressive. Well-produced and professional sounding, 'Pain Junkie' could easily be a label release...the songs are aggressive, yet danceable...a powerful CD with very good songs."..- Ed Johnson (The Inside Connection).. .. ...."Ministry meets Nine Inch Nails meets A F**KING SLEDGE HAMMER! Nomenclature: Storms in Time blends ethereal/dark wave elements with more traditional rock stylings to create songs which have a high degree of emotion & depth, not to mention plenty of melodic hooks to pull listeners in & keep them wallowing in the maelstrom, enjoying every moment spent there. The processing & layering of the vocals give them an airy, other worldly quality, which compliments well the morose dreamscape painted underneath via synthesizers & guitars. The presence of driving percussion also endures wakefulness amidst all of this atmosphere. Nomenclature cranks out plenty of beautiful melodies, but also demonstrates how to pack quite a punch at the same time. Anyone seeking a change of pace in the world of ethereal Goth/Rock really should give Nomenclature: Storms In Time a listen.".. - (Rat Bastard, Legends Magazine)..
