BILK were formed in Zagreb (Croatia) in 1999. by high school friends Janko Novoselic, Tin Oberman, Miroslav Piskulic and Luka Vrbanic. After many experiments the unstable line-up got reduced to the steady and dedicated drums, bass, guitar&synth base.
By the end of 2005 Mr. Moonlee proposed them a record deal. Janko, Luka and Tin went to the legendary Kozmo Studio in Zagreb and recorded their debut album called "This BILK is Radioactive" which was released in March 2006 by Moonlee Records with Marko Pelaic as producer.
Their heuristic approach enabled them to produce a brilliant album featuring a sound unheard in this area before. The groove, coming out of their drums, bass, synthesizers and guitar is built from various music styles melted into a breakbeat mass of pure positive energy. You will get caught by the flow of melodies and beats, nodding your head thinking "yes, this is it!"
In Autumn 2006 Janko, the drummer, decided to leave the band. Luckily, it didn't take long for Cipal (Edi Grubisic) to jump in and provide the funk BILK needs. Now, BILK is richer for one dalmatian chef who started his drum career back in 90's in a croatian cult band - Zidar Betonsky. A few years ago he moved to Zagreb and played in many croatian mainstream projects.
BILK live act wouldn't be complete without two members that give the powerful and raw BILK music that special final audio-visual touch. Always accompanied by sound engineer as real-time producer and VJ artist - currently working with B1RO - they create new and exciting environments for trio on stage as well as the audience.
This BILK is Radioactive and after listening to it for a while - unable to stop dancing and shaking, moving and tapping you might feel cursed. Your muscles will ache like never before and there will be a big smile spread over your face. Nothing will ever be like it was before. You will be cursed. It's black BILK science! Transmeet.Tv nastavlja s izdavanjem online DVD-a. Nakon Stillnessa i
njihovog nastupa u Domu sportova ispred 10 000 ljudi, na red su došli
genijalci iz Antenata koji su u zagrebačkom klubu Boogaloo napravili
koncert za pamćenje.
Bend koji je na sceni već 12 godina i koji je izmislio žanr subreggae,
iza sebe ima više od 300 koncerata, pa se može reći da su homogeni na
pozornici i da znaju zadovoljiti publiku.

Warm-up stage - besplatno zagrijavanje na Rokaj festu!!!!
Ovogodišnji
Rokaj fest, koji će se na Jarunu održati od 3. do 5. srpnja, obogaćen
je za još jednu pozornicu - Warm-up stage. Pozornica je smještena izvan
festivalskog prostora, pored kampa, tako da će posjete tim koncertnim
nastupima biti besplatne. Naime, i oni koji nemaju ulaznicu za
festival moći će biti dio ovog događanja, i to tijekom subote i
nedjelje, od 13 do 18 sati, kada će moći uživati u (besplatnoj) svirci.
Warm-up stage će zabavljati kampere i sve one koji su željni
rock'n'roll ritmova u popodnevnim satima. Tim povodom je listi izvođača dodano još 10 novih imena. Mighty Vibes & Beat Busters proudly presents you another free release. Tobogan is amazing live improvisational dub, psydub, dubstep, jungle, drum & bass... band from Zagreb, Croatia. Built from one of the best young Croatian musicians & producers they explore the realms of electronic dance music played with band and instruments. Their shows are almost completely improvised so every show is unique and special.
They bring us complete show improvised and recorded in Belgrade at 8. Refract festival, held on 6.6.2009. in KC "Grad" club.
