About me:
These days on the freelance in, it seems, many familiar cities BUT New York...alas. I have moved, to a goregous brick palace in Prospect Heights. Please come and help us enjoy this little gem we found. In Hartford I'm working on this sick little 3 Act play THIN AIR by Lynne Alvarez. She's a poet-turned-playwright "for the money." Anyone?
Shakespeare & Co. is keeping me on the docket with "The Secret of Sherlock Holmes," running through October. Features long-time company reps Michael Hammond and Dave Demke. I'll be sound designing with some of my favorite string music: Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence, Schubert's Death of the Maiden String Quartet #14, some solo violin from Bartok and Lera Auerbach, the two Dvorak String Quintets, and Gorecki's String Quartet #3. The Kronos recording is superb.
If you like new music and book suggestions, check back into the profile upon occasion - especially you folks who'd love to get your grubby paws on more classical music (or good classical music). I'll update with whatever's on the needle (or the bedside) as the fads change...
