About me: I’ve been a truck driver for too many years to remember. I love to travel, either in my eighteen wheeler or, more preferably, on my Harley Davidson. I’m seeing a great lady, Rhonda, who I have known since we were kids. I’m not sure who’s crazier…her or me! lol. With all seriousness, Rhonda is a cancer survivor and I’m quite proud that she stays active and she’s always doing something with her family or mine. We are both very committed to Ride For A Cure. My family and I started this in 2007 after losing my fiancé to cancer Sept 14th 2006. Her name was Gayle Willis and we were together from 1999 until 2006 when cancer took her from me and her family at the young age of 49. Gayle was a very strong woman, never worried and seldom talked of her cancer. She worked at a job on her feet all day and worked right up to a few months before she passed away. I’m very close to Gayle’s family and they are very involved with Rhonda and me, and all the family and friends who help make Ride For A Cure a success. This Year’s 2008 Poker run was a great ride with people from all over showing up. It’s good to see all the cancer survivors and people who have lost loved ones to cancer get so involved. We all have been touched by cancer in one way or another. This is a great way for people to see that those who ride motorcycles have such big hearts and donate so much time, effort and money to make sure we give the American Cancer Society a nice donation. Thank you all for all the enormous work and efforts to make Ride For A Cure a success.
3rd year already?? Once again my job is going to prevent me from making it I'm afraid. I just got a new boss today so I have no idea what's going to be happening in the next few weeks. I REALLY need to win the lotto and buy me and Peg both a bike so we don't have to worry about piddly things like a job keeping us from what we want to do. lol Hope you're doin ok truckin away out there. Miss ya!! luv u man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Uncle Bill! I've got the Ride For A Cure date on my calendar so we won't forget! Sean has to work that Saturday but only til about 3:30. So, maybe we could drive out after that. I could just meet him in Carroll & leave straight from there. I would love to come since I've missed the past 2 years! And by then, I will have Olivia too! That would be a good time to bring her out to meet the whole family! Will let you know closer to the date if we can come! Love ya! Roo

One day, two rednecks named Bubba and Earl were driving down the road, drinking a couple of Buds.
The passenger, Bubba, said "Lookey thar up ahead Earl, it's a po-leece roadblock! We're gonna get busted fer drinkin' these here beers!"
"Don't worry Bubba," Earl said. "We'll just pull over and finish drinkin' these beers, peel off the label and stick it on our foreheads, then throw the bottles under the seat."
"What fer?" asked Bubba.
"Just let me do the talkin', okay?" said Earl. They finished their beers, threw the empty bottles under the seat and slapped the labels on their foreheads. When they reached the roadblock, the sheriff said,
"Have you boys been drinking?" "No sir," said Earl,
Yeah he did, I walked out of the back and heard someone yell my name, turned around and there he sat. It was nice to see him, we chatted for a minute and he took off to get some sleep and I had all my stuff to get done. I was a nice surprise and NO my face didn't get all red again...lol I'm a little more on my toes these days. Hope all is well with you, doin good here just workin my tail off. Take care and LUV U MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
