What the press say:
Comments on Summertime (from the Album Lucia's Waltz) by the International Collectors of Summertime Recordings:
My...that's a beauty!!! It's a 0 on a scale of 1 to 5 (horrible) and I hardly give that score (about 75 on our collection of more than 9,600). It really gives me goosepimples and only the great ones like Ben Webster or Cecilia Bartoli can do that. I've marked it a no trade recording, which means that none of my co-collectors will share it through any p2p-program or outside our little club. Thank you so much, I'm glad to have been that naughty-impolite to ask you for this one.

If this year's Solo Festival has a theme it is probably master musicians...an experience of real magic is expected...FiddleTree comprises Waterboys member Steve Wickham, manic scotsman Bill Stewart and Dervish musician Seamie O'Dowd. They are three of the most talented fiddle players in Ireland and will play together on Thursday, May 5 in a night of music which already has the whole town talking....
-------
"Bill Stewart, the Scot with the demonic violin has contributed his unique sounds to performances by many others as well as going solo with some simply outstanding and outrageous playing...."
---------
"The best applause was reserved for the best performers.......when joined by virtuoso violinist Bill Stewart the roof came off Bar Eile!!"
"joined by bill stewart for a sensational blues finale that gave the audience goosebumps...."
www.thomann.de I consider to be a band member for their very excellent service in delivering what they promise when they promise...they are the best guys to get you gear from!!!

Hi! wanted to send you a message! CAN'T!!! My Space doesn't let me! Anyway: I have some suggestions for next year, try and tour Belgium is one of them. We'll absolutely come and see(hear) you play! All the very best for 2010! fab;xxx.
Hi Bill! My Space is acting strange indeed! I just wanted to reply to a message I received and I can't!!! And to YOU I can reply in a comment! Weird, all of this... When you are touring we might come and see you one day in 2010! be prepared for the Belgians to barge in! All the very best and..;take care on the roads! Fabienne.xxx. Belgium.
Hi Bill! Thanks for the comment, I'm having a bit of that nasty flu, but I'm holding on! I've heard about the floodings in Ireland and UK...how awful, right now it's rather ok here, but, that might change too. Great you've met some Belgians... please, don't think all of us speak all these different languages. Me, myself, I'm only very good in my own dialect and in Dutch. You should hear me in West Flemish..;really quick and smoothly...but, in a different language, quite something else.:-) Glad there's great music: a language all of us understands!!! Have you ever heard of "Vishtèn"??? A Canadian band, I've seen them twice in concert before this flu thing started..." Vishtèn" are absolutely magnificent. I'll check out your new tunes first and then , after the weekend I'll put one of the tunes on my page! In the meantimle you can have a listen to "Vishtèn" if you like, they're on my page with a very long, great piece of music!!! enjoy. Fab.xxx.

SUPER great, tomorrow I'll drive to the other side of Belgium to see them play again....just fantastic and so lively and powerful! Can't wait to see and hear them again....hooray, good music in autumntime, that's what we all need!!! All the best, I'll check out your new stuff... Fabienne.xxx.Belgium.

Hey Billie, I am happy to hear from you! Everything is OK here, it's a beautiful summer, hot and dry. I am often in the garden and walking in the fields looking at the blue sky and happy with your music. Take care my friend. I wish you a lot of inspiration and sunshine. Anita xxx
You are back!! alive and kicking I hope, but I think you are, because I feel a positif aura around your comment. :) It's summer, I will always find the green off grass in the summer, I smell it when the first butterflies fly above it.. Did you find the strings? Play outside, in nature, and you will always have the most wonderful audience, this audience will always be so thankful and they will love every song, I can tell, you just have to listen to their applauding leaves .. :) keep well. hugz. xx
