My next short story will be "Keeping Hannah Safe" in the Recipe for Love Anthology from Highland Press. It is the story of Firefighter Brian Lancaster and Nurse Hannah Gibson.
All Brian wants to do is sleep but when returns home from his shift as a firefighter to find the condo next to his on fire, he puts out one fire only to start another with his new neighbor Hannah Gibson.
The only way to Brian may ever get to sleep is to stop Hannah from cooking and that may require him to make the ultimate sacrifice and marry her. From where he stands that is not such a bad idea but first each has a problem past to overcome.
