Bio
..Born and raised in the cold cruel north, Bill Johnston has been playing music since he was a youngster. His mother tells tales of him making up songs to sing at everybody at the tender age of 4. Years later, it appears that not much has changed... Bill is a veteran of the Boston music scene, having been a street performer, acapella singer, orchestra member, lead and/or rhythm guitar player, and solo singer/songwriter. He has appeared on several CDs featuring local musicians from the Beantown area... Recently, Bill packed his bags and headed for the Sunshine state and, during his 2 year residence in Tampa Bay, has become a regular at local coffeehouses and bars. In addition to other appearances in the area, he has been interviewed on local radio, been NOLA Cafe's featured artist each Sunday for the past year, and appears monthly at Tanya & Matt's Ice Creamiest... Currently, an extremely "homegrown" (i.e. recorded in various living rooms and basements) CD is available - see details below. A newer, brighter, shinier CD is in the works, and will be available within the next few months...
