Way back in 1972 I met a guitar player at a church that was just being started in a hotel in San Diego, California. This guy played Chet Atkins finger picking like I havent heard before. Afterwards I went backstage and asked him to show me how to play that style of picking. From their I began to work at this style of picking day after day until one day I realized that I had began to understand that style. From their I began to listen to John Denver who became my absolute favorite song writer and the rest is history. Now if you would like to hear me in person you may find me at the Bistro 150 located off of Hwy 150 @ Route 68 in the Oak Ridge Commons.
And on the Second Stage: Flowers for Faye, Greystone Chapel, Wake the Fallen, Written in Red, Jon Lloyd Band, Runaway City, Crimson Refuge, and Philmont!
