I recently made a very bad decision to get behind the wheel after having had a few drinks. I was pulled over and it quickly escalated in to not only a drunk driving charge but also an assault and a resisting arrest. I have never had a drunk driving before, nobody was hurt, and there was no accident.
 As a result I have lost my license which has had an effect in not being able to provide for my family, as driving is essential in my line of work.
 I have to pay a large fine. I'll have to go to jail and  buy special insurance to get my license back. Also I will have to go to alcohol awareness classes that cost almost $700.00. Altogether it will cost thousands that I dont have. My family will pay for my bad choice.
I wrote this new song "The drunk driver song" to help make people aware of the price you will have to pay for drinking and driving. I was not a criminal, nor a bad person, but because my stupidity I am now both.
Please do not drink and drive!
