About me:
I'm a songwriter and folk singer who reads avidly and pays too much attention to politics. A year ago I married Tiffani Ginn, a beautiful woman with a big heart and phenomenal musical talent. We spend a lot of our time touring with Tiffani's sister Brit, (they are The Ginn Sisters) playing music all around the country. If you like great singing with sister harmonies and great songwriting in the Americana and Country school, you must check them out. When I'm not working hard on music business, I try to get outside and walk around the Town Lake, ride my bike, fly our kite, swim in Barton Springs.
Once every year or two, I go hiking in some stunning location with my friends Darin, Keith, Erik and Steve. So far we've to Copper Canyon in Mexico, The Brooks Range in Alaska, Canyonlands Nat'l Park in Utah, Escalante Nat'l Park in Utah, and in the Cascades in Washington.
I come from a family band, The Poss Family Band, in Effingham, IL. My dad taught me to play guitar while I was in grad school at the Univ. of Illinois. He plays banjo, my brothers all play guitar, bass, mandolin and etc., my neices play fiddle and we all sing. We also have an uncle Fudd, Bill Martin who sits in on guitar and mandolin. My brother Matt Passalacqua has a band called Matt Poss and The Wild Bunch.
