About me:

Boston 79 finish in a then AR of 20927. We have this poster available for sale in the store.

Bill Rodgers Running Center first opened its doors in 1977, in Cleveland Circle (Boston, MA) on the Marathon route. Committed to helping runners of all levels, we matched up runners with the correct shoe for their foot, not the best selling or most expensive shoe like many other stores may do.

In 1978, a second store opened in Faneuil Hall near Boston's historic waterfront and many other locations opened - and closed per the running climate's dictates - in the following years.

In 1986, the original store in Cleveland Circle was squeezed out of the building it was located in and re-opened on Beacon St. in Boston, still on the Marathon route but closer into town. Due to minimal traffic at that location, that store closed its doors in 1989 and the core employees all combined at the Faneuil Hall store.

We have a street level and downstairs level in Faneuil Hall so dont miss either of them!

Today, we still have our same original commitment to the runner - and a lot more shoe choices! We carry most lines of shoes, apparel, and accessories and we still fit the runner in the correct shoe for them (we are very competitive with all our prices).

We have a small yet knowledgeable staff - including some originals from our Cleveland Circle days! - whose experience has led to many doctor and podiatrist referrals because of our track record.

We invite you to visit our store! So please, stop by and explore our walls and display cases filled with running memorabilia - Experience a part of running's rich history!

Until then, we'll "See You on the Roads"!

Not in Boston yet? Please visit our official website - Bill Rodgers Running Center.
