Influences
We all have had many diverse influences in our music. Look at the set list. Listen to the music. It becomes pretty obvious that we all bring some of our personal favorites into the mix during the course of a night with the Stress Factor Band.
Sounds Like
A unique sounding group that must be experienced live to be fully appreciated.
The Stress Factor Band was founded in 1992 by Bill Seitzinger, Dave McClure, and Geo Meenan. Since then it has evolved into a 6-man band specializing in danceable classic rock music but we'll dable into just about everything. We play tunes from Prince, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Baby Face, Commodores, KC, Wild Cherry, Bad Company, Joe Walsh, Buffet, Doby Grey, Molly Hatchet, Doors, Beatles, Monkees, Cameo, Romantics, Doobie Brothers, Stones, STP, Billy Joel, WHATEVER, and a few original tunes thrown in for good measure. We aim to get you up dancing and keep you thirsty for more. A talented group of seasoned musicians with two or three guitar players, bass, harmonica, drums, and precussion. All members sing lead and backing vocals and harmonies are the thing that sets this band apart from your traditional bar band. Dave McClure, Ken Ferrier, Larry Peirce, Nate Grove, and Jim Yeager are my band brothers...the brothers I never had. We have a blast playing together and you will have a blast with us. Come see for yourself. Check www.stressfactorband.com for upcoming dates, band info, and sound clips.
As for me, I'm a safety and environmental manager for printing company by day. However, my passion is music and I enjoy writing and recording in my home studio. I use an Alverez acoustic, Carvin, and Gibson electric guitars, a Digitech GNX4 guitar processor, an ATHLON 64 Windows XP PC with Sound Blaster Audigy card, and Cool Edit Pro software. I play through either a Trace Elliot, Line 6 Spider Valve, or Fender Twin on stage. I hope that you enjoy the music. My dream is to write just one hit song. Just one and I would be happy. I'll keep trying if you keep listening. Hit me up if you care to comment.
Finally, we would like to introduce our entire album, "Pretend That We're Famous" on Itunes now! Just incase you dont already know :D Keep in touch~Sandlot Heroes
