I'm a drummer (and occasional singer), philosophimator, webmeister, silly person (i.e. dork), animal lover, tree hugger, friend to all and, above all else, an appreciator of the little things in life. I'll never compromise my ethics or say "no" to a friend (or share their secrets). I was a Boy Scout and probably always will be, despite being a musician (we're not ALL wild, ya know ... well, maybe just a bit wild!). I'm also a confirmed movie fanatic, but love spending time in the great outdoors even more. But, music is and always will be my true passion in life ... and these days, I also have a growing passion for my work & goals with BilltownLIVE.com.

If there's anything else you'd like to know about me personally, have your people call my people to arrange an interview. HA! Okay, here's a few tidbits about me, since you asked ;)

I've been a part of more local & regional bands than I can even begin to mention, but most memorable for me are: Rubber Soul & The Helter Skelter Horns, BlueZilla, Three Blind Mice, The Transcendants and Blow Dog & The Maple Men (LOVED that band name!). Over the course of my continuing musical career, I've also had the distinct privilege of playing or working with such great artists as Bo Diddley (RIP, brother), Davy Jones, Levon Helm, Tino Gonzales, Joan Osbourne and many more. The list of cool folks I've "roadied" for is lengthy, and every year I help run the stage at the annual Billtown Blues Festival ... and so the list of fabulous blues artists I've worked with is even longer. And then, there's the list of so-called "famous" people that I've simply met over the years. REALLY long list, but thankfully, only a rare & disappointing few were wankers ;)

One of the most talented artists I've ever had the honor of playing for from time to time is North Carolina-based singer, songwriter & guitarist Melissa Reaves. She's other-worldly. Man, can she ever give ya chills.

These days, musically-speaking, I'm happier than ever before ... playing with my cherished, long-time friends Chris Bovard, Kimbo Reichley & Webb Kline in The Blind Chitlin Kahunas. Come see us sometime soon! We play some pretty bad-ass blues! I'll make sure that you get properly lei'd, too ... with a Hawaiian lei, that is ;-)
