Bill Wood was born at an early age. It was all downhill after that. He has been at one time or other a husband, father, glam rocker, punk, bike courier, waiter, driver courier, eighties rock star. home renovator, gospel singer, Juno nominee, and general dogsbody. I'm old now, but there's still fire in my belly, I'm not dead yet. and I'm here to rock, so sue me. P.S. My wife has promised to come up with a better bio one day. Stay tuned O.K. Major news flash! My basement is now full of the new Bill Wood cd Take It. So feel free to head to the old website and grab yourself a few dozen as they are definitely going fast. Stay tuned for a more desperate plea. O.k O.k I've been getting a lot of stick over my bio. It's not positive enough. So here goes... I've got an excellent new c.d. I'm not kidding. I've been working on it for about a year and I'm really happy with it. It's got a bunch of great songs, with a bunch of great guys playing on it. It was produced by Tim Abraham, Mark Shannon, and myself. Tim Abraham played a whack of awesome stuff on it, and I also had Bob Egan[Blue Rodeo], Dennis Keldie...[completely blew my brains out] and Ross Wooldridge..[ another keyboard monster]. Mark Duff was on drums, and Rob Clark was on bass. They are both my buddies and they totally kicked. The sessions were a blast. I'm sitting on about a million new tunes, and I bloody well hope I pull this thing up to the next level cause I'm dying to record the next one. It's great, I'm great!! O.K!?... Stay Tuned

It's the video for our new single, "BRIGITTE BARDOT", taken from our current album "LOLA DUTRONIC IN BERLIN".
It's our #1 download at iTunes and our most viewed clip on YouTube. It's been getting all kinds of airplay all over the world. Even the legendary Rodney Bingenheimer has been playing it on his show on KROQ-FM in L.A., as well as the video appearing on the NME's website.

Sounds like wind blowing in a wheatfield, train rolling down the line, rain coming down on a old tin shed, steel, wire and a rusty heart. Boots of leather and dust and ash. Mollasess and coal and stone. Wedding rings and buried bones of love broken and burnt. Tales and the footprints, ravenswings and souls are earnt."
