  • Music

I love most music!! Most of the music I listen to is guitar based be it acoustic, classical or the electric guitar. My listening range is from Garth Brooks to Natalie Merchant, Billie Holiday to Zeppelin, as long as it has something to say. My favorite country singers/bands are Clint Black, Diamond Rio, Doug Supernaw, George Strait, Alabama, and Sons of the Desert. My favorite Rock bands are Warrant, Boston, Bad Company, Van Halen, Skynyrd, Winger, Bryan Adams, Cinderella, Bon Jovi and tons more I can’t think of right now. Oh yea, I do listen to a lot of the newer stuff like NickelBack, Foo Fighters, and Shinedown.
  • Movies

My movie interests are normal I think, but lately I have been on a tear of going out and watching them instead of at home. Basically, I like Independent films a lot. I just watched a great movie called Undertow, which had a cool plot about a single dad raising his two sons in South Georgia. I hated that everyone died at the end of the movie........ I watch some sci-fi, and fantasy, but I like comedies as well. I like anything Steve Martin is in by the way. If I do watch a movie at home, it's when I'm ready to go to sleep. I usually just take out my laptop and put in something that one of my sisters let me borrow and fall asleep with it playing. I still have so many DVDs around the house I haven't seen yet. ..

  • Television

Easy one. SportsCenter, and probably CMT. History Channel is pretty good too.
  • Books

I use to read a lot back in High School. My favorite author back then was Mika Waltari. I read everything by him when I was a teenager. Most of his stuff is Christian/historical. Some other favorite authors of mine are, Tolkein, Terry Brooks, and Margaret Weis. I have some Sherlock Holmes I’m about to start reading as well.
  • Heroes

Christ is the ultimate hero. I tend to admire most anyone that truly does brave things.

About me:

..I grew up in North Florida for all of my life (except for the 5 years I lived in Tuscaloosa Alabama) and; I live in North Florida still, in the Chipley, Graceville and Cottondale area( not that far from Dothan). I enjoy jogging, tennis, playing basketball, hiking, and spending time outdoors in general. One day I will run a marathon. I enjoy time inside as well, like playing darts or pool. I come from a big family, and try and do as much with my siblings and family as a whole as much as possible.

I hate negative people and I have tried to remove all aspects out of my life. I am always trying to better myself, and be helpful to people around me. I’m addicted to seafood, except for oysters. I have a lot of old fashioned values-honesty and respect for others. My biggest flaw is that I trust in people too much. It always comes back to haunt me. There was a time I lived my days like life was too long, now I have realized life is too short to do everything I want to accomplish, so I try and enjoy it but at the same time live a Godly life.

My old boss that graduated from Auburn use to say he could always tell when I’m “scheming”. I guess he could read my facial expressions or something while I was working. Anyway, he was right in a way, because I really am trying to figure out all types of possibilities. Well I’m a graduate from The University of Alabama, so that means I love football. If you wanna be friends, just add me. Peace.

Eric Johnson is awsome on the acoustic as well as the electric! He plays a style that's kinda similar to mine. If only I could play a tenth as good as him....

yah, it's been hectic for me too. I have operations management, strategic management, auditing, business communications, and marketing. Marketing and business comm. are BBOORRIINGG. Lot's of work. I understand the need to effectively communicate, but if you can't communicate effectively by the time you're in college, I highly doubt one course is going to do it for you. LOL. I have like 2 classes left in the spring I HAVE to take, but I'll probably take two more to stay full time on my dad's insurance. I am definitely thinking about going to Bama for my Master's in Accountancy, and I saw that I would only have to take an extra 6 classes on top of the MACC degree to also get a Master's in Finance. I may do that. I think that would be an asset for me to have. You were a finance major, do you think it would be difficult to take 4 or 5 finance graduate courses if you have only had finance 1 and 2 undergrad courses? Good to hear aobut the engagement. I know you must be very happy! Just stick in there.
    We'll make it! :) -kyle

  • Aug 15 2008 3:01 AM

    hey billy,
How are ya? Tennessee? Engaged? I guess you finally found someone who is able to put up with you. Just kidding. How are things going with you, watcha been up to? I took the GMAT after only studying like 3 weeks and made a 630. I need about a 650 to get into most PhD programs (I think I might be able to get into Ole Miss though). I did good enough that I probably can go to Alabama for my Masters and do an assistantship and get most of it paid for. I'm very happy, and I'm considering my options. I am thinking about the Mast. in Accounting Program there. Anyways, I hope to hear from you.
    Bye! -kyle
