Blurbs

About me:

My Name is Barbara, and I am 18. I was born in 1991. I'm a freshman in college and I'll be moving up to San Fran to go to San Francisco State University so that i can achieve my goals of majoring in psychology. (Go Freud!) I'm very interested in the human mind and the mentally unstable. Psychology fascinates me, and I hope to fulfill my career choice and become a Psychiatrist and treat the mentally ill. I'm shy, however, I love to meet new people, especially when we share the same interests. I enjoy music (can't play anything though), drawing, writing, anime, food, messing around on the computer, and being close with family and friends. I have a strong dislike for cleaning, rap/R&B/Hip-hop, and people who ditch me and/or annoy me. I hate fighting - although I seem to argue often - and I hate to be wrong.

I'm a lil kid deep down, I love to just hang out with friends and be myself. I'm nice and caring, but when somone gets me angry, I can become a bitch. Although I'm pretty smart, I act dumb most of the time. I lack common sense, usually, but I feel confident when I say I'm bright.

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone and Everyone

Interests

  • Music

I listen to a lot of rock, old and new. I also like J-pop and J-rock. I love Papa Roach, Burn Halo, AFI, A7X, I Am Ghost, Three Days Grace, Lostprophets, Bullet For My Valentine, The Vincent Black Shadow, 18V, fall from grace, Blink, Bob Seger, Van Halen, Brian Setzer, you get the picture
  • Books

I read a lot. At the moment I'm into a lot of sci-fi and mystical creatures stuff. I also like reading about the Wars, mostly fictional stuff that ties in with non-fictional. I also read a lot of japanese manga. I like art so a book is great with nice pictures. I'll admit that I love the book Twilight. I enjoy David Bishop's WWII Vampire series and Dracula is the best novel I have ever read. Of Mice and Men is a fantastic read and so is Wuthering Heights. BTW, go pick up something by Shakespeare, It'll do you good.
  • Heroes

Mom, Dad, the usual, and my best friend Sarah, who helps me get through the hardest of times. Music, and Dr. John Seward from the book Dracula by Bram Stoker, who makes me want to continue my dream in becoming a psychologist.
