I love Chapelle, and really anything that will make me laugh. I love Las Vegas(that's where we got married) and we can't wait to go back. My wife and I desparately want another baby, and are hopeful that that is in our future, as long as I get outta here soon, she's getting old! Anyway, I just love life and can't wait to get mine back, seriously I wish I could go to work, or change my tires, or do laundry, anything but lie in this stupid hospital bed!!!

Billy doesn't like to read, guess you guys knew it was me writing this part! I read other stuff too, just not right now, now I need to remember all the time who's driving this ship and that God is with us every step of the way!
Billy should be everyone's hero. Not because of his accomplishments or achievements in life, but because of his amazing will to live. His commitment to his family, and his commitment to support us, drive him. He is an amazing man, who I can't wait for all of you to meet, and if you already know Billy, well then you know what it's like to know one of the strongest men in the world. Nobody in any of these hospitals has ever seen someone so mysteriously and chronically and acutely sick, and he just keeps shocking them and proving them wrong! Walking, amazing us all. Keep it up Billy, we are all pulling for you, and just know that at least to Rylie, Londyn, and I, you are our hero, and that if anybody knows what you have fought through, you are definitely theirs too!

Billy Anderson I miss my husband so much......... Posted at 6:32 PM Oct 9 view more
Billy is still at OU Med. Ctr. in Oklahoma City, and we know that he has a very rare immunodefficiency that he was not born with. We just started him on a new drug that is completely experimental for him. The purpose of the drug is to rebuild his gut. So far, so good. I believe he is finally kicking the pneumonia, the doctors said his recent chest xray looked good. Hopefully, we will start seeing major improvement from this new medicine and lack of infections! My goal this week is to get him eating again, doctors have started Billy on an appetite stimulant, and it appears to be working, as he has started eating a little bit! We all want him to get out of bed again, but it seems sometimes his pain is not allowing him to move around very much! Please keep praying for our family, he keeps taking 2 steps forward, 1 step back, we just got new teams of doctors, and he has a new case manager, since I got rid of his last one, and hopefully they will take our Billy a little more seriously. He is very sick and has been for so long, but we are still believing and trusting God! Thanks for checking up on us, being in the hospital away from your friends and family sucks, and we really appreciate all of your support and prayers, Billy needs you guys! God bless you!
This is Billy's story as told on Fox 25 News out of Oklahoma City in December of 2008! Please view and send this to all of your friends and anywhere where you think that might be of help! Either way, we appreciate your continued support, Billy's still sick, and we won't quit fighting for him until he's home with
Billy was threatened with discharge, again, and we told the case manager that Billy would not survive outside a hospital. That case manager told our family that he was sorry that this is just how "our system works", there's just "not any place in this country that will take your husband without insurance", and "he can't live here." He told us that if we refused Billy's discharge he would find my husband a "homeless shelter."
Billy Anderson is my husband, and he has been covered by international news everywhere because our family won't stand for such injustice! Billy has been to 5 different hospitals in the last 17 months partly because nobody wants to "eat the cost of his care." Billy is undiagnosed, he is a medical mystery, Billy is 29 years old with 2 little girls, and Billy is uninsured.
Billy was on Kansas medicaid until he received his first $1,000 Social Security disability check in July of 2008, at which time his medicaid was cancelled. We have lost our rental home, and my daughter and I live with my mom now. We are harassed by bill collectors daily, and are barely making it financially, as we spend over half of Billy's disability check on gas and toll fees so that we can visit him at the hospital everyday.
Billy continues to fight for his life, and we continue to fight with him. Billy was discharged last July from Barnes-Jewish hospital to a small skilled nursing facility in Kansas near where we lived, against our family's wishes. They discharged him even though there was no diagnosis and he still couldn't eat, at that point, he had lost 110 lbs. He lasted at that facility for 2 days before he was back in an ICU unit, fully septic and doctors were telling our family to prepare for the worst.
At the current hospital, Oklahoma University Medical Center, Billy was threatened with discharge again, and we told the case manager that Billy would not survive outside a hospital, and that case manager told our family that he was sorry that is just how "our system works", there's just not any place in this country that will take your husband without insurance, and that if we refused his discharge he would find my husband a homeless shelter.
My husband was a hard worker, he suffers tremendously everyday from this illness, and he deserves every opportunity to survive. Our little girls deserve their daddy, and we all deserve answers.
Please Mr. President, the health care system has failed my husband, Billy needs your help. He needs to be at a larger diagnostic hospital like John's Hopkins or Mayo Clinic, but without medical coverage, this is not an option for us, we are stuck. The%2

Who I'd like to meet: Dr. House, seriously, does he exist, we need him...Jerry Jones, Bobby Bowden, Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Z, and Shaq! My wife would like to meet Jesse Duplantis and all of her DG sisters who helped us buy our car! DG's rock! OH yeah, Eminem too!
I am terribly sorry for you and your family's loss. I can't say I know how you feel, if I could it would not matter because the mere statement would not take away your feelings of pain and sadness. However I can keep you and your family in my prayers. And say that he may have seen pain on Earth, but his pain is gone as he walks with Angels and God. I will always remember Billy for his struggles and his determination to win the battle. I only knew him a short time while I was his physical therapist at St. Johns but I am glad I met him. Again You are in my prayers.
Nikki, I saw this on the news this morning. I'm sooo sorry. You know I'm hear if ya need to talk, you got my number if you'd rather text. Stay strong. We been friends a long time even though it's been a while since we have seen each other. And I'm always here if you need to talk. I wish your family the best & we will continue to keep you guys in our prayers.
This song is called "THE PROMISE" It gets me through many tough days in my life. Please read the words and let them touch your heart. If you are going through a battle know that God is there to pull you through it. He promised he would if we would just trust in him. There is nothing that we fight that he hasnt already suffered. God bless!
Verse 1 I never said that I would give you silver or gold or that you would never feel the fire or shiver in the cold but i did say you would never walk through this world alone. And I did say don't make this world your home. I never said that fear wouldnt find you in he night or that loneliness was something you'd never have to fight but i did say I'd be right there by your side and I did say I'll always help you fight
Cause you know I made a promise that I intend to keep my grace will be sufficient in every time of need my love will be the anchor that you can hold on to this is the promise I made to you
Verse 2 I never said that friends would never turn their backs on you or that the world around around you wouldnt see you as a fool but I did say like me, you'll surely be depised and I did say, my ways confound the wise I didnt say you'd never taste the bitter kiss of death or have to walk through chilly Jordan to enter into rest but I did say I'd be waiting right on the other side and I did say I'd dry every tear you cried
Cause you know I made a promise that I prepared a place and someday sooner than you think you'll see me face to face and you'll sing with the angels and a countless multitude this is the promise I made to you
So just keep on walking, don't turn to the left or right and in the midst of darkness let this be your light that hell can't seperate us and you're gonna make it through this is the promise, this is the promise I made to you!

Nikki, I am sooooo sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking and my words are few. I am just speechless. I had no idea until Shelby sent me an email telling me Billy passed on. I am so sorry and wish their was something that I could do to comfort you. I really held out for a miracle but I think God could see Billy was tired and he fought for so long. Such a tough battle he had but he NEVER GAVE UP! He was truly amazing and you are so awesome. He was so lucky to have you for a wife. You never left his side and were always there for him. You are a true inspiration to others of the love between a husband and wife. I pray now that your heart can heal and that God will help you find peace. Please know that I am here anytime you need a friend, and if you still have my number, please never hesitate to call. Again I am deeply sorry and we are all praying for your family. God bless and love to you always Christina
