Ohio's Billy Capuano is sure to make anyone's "greatest unheard-of guitarists" list. His inspired and rainbow-streaked soloing blurs rockabilly, blues and country into a seamless and bouyant whole. ***** - Five Stars - Excellent David Larson / ROCKABILLY MAGAZINESeptember/October 2005

Incredible energy, musical skills and a true love for rock 'n' roll music. Those terms came to my mind first after listening to this fabulous debut album for the first time. Billy & The Bullets got that right for sure, because their music
just sparks from the silver platter with great dedication. Marijn Raaijmakers/BLACK CAT ROCKABILLY EUROPE - The Netherlands

The 14 songs (8 originals) were recorded live in the studio within one day -
something only a well rehearsed, tight band can do! Roots Rock fans with a gusto for Rockabilly and uptempo 50's style R & B will enjoy this self-released album. BLUE SUEDE NEWS - Issue ..68 - Fall 2004
Billy and the Bullets kicks off with Sweet Young Thing, a rockabilly standard
with the much-loved thump and shake geared at one special hottie. Jump, Boogie and Bop pops through the speakers as dance-a-long ditty for the swingers. T wails in a way that would make Wanda Jackson take notice. Don't know how the Bullets got this formula, but somehow they took 50s inspired rockabilly and blended it with a seedy lounge act and invented Lounge-a-billy. Its as if Frank grabbed Ella Fitzgerald and hooked up with Elvis in a roadside dive for one helluva smoking, drinking, and music binge. ROCKABILLY BABE www.rockabillybabe.com

A Shot of Rockabilly hit this musical quartet,
BILLY & THE BULLETS, of Kent/Akron, Ohio.
The group features the fiery guitar playing of Billy along with his buddies,
"T" on vocals and piano, Tennessee on bass and Bobby on drums.
Blending their influences of the Stray Cats, Elvis, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins & The Johnny Burnette Trio with their original tunes,
gives the group a Rootsy, Rockin' Sound!!
Billys guitar theatrics along with 3 lead vocals kick the live shows into high gear!!

My brother Bob Capuano, BILLY & THE BULLETS Drummer, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007.
Bob was diagnosed in February of this year with a rare form of inoperable cancer, Mesothelioma of the peritoneum. He started feeling bad last November and went to numerous doctors and they finally figured out what was going on in February. Throughout this ordeal Bob kept his positive attitude and did everything and more to fight it. We did not mention any of this to anyone because that is how Bob wanted it because he was a proud man who didn’t want to call attention to himself.
Bob was not only my brother but he was also my best friend. He always looked out for me. I was fortunate enough to write & play music with him for the last 28 years. There was never any drummer I ever thought about playing with, he was the Best. He was the one who influenced me in every facet of my life and especially in my guitar playing. He knew what I was going to play at the gigs without me even looking at him. That is a truly special bond that I will always cherish. I feel blessed to have been able to play music with my brother and best friend.
Anyone who knew him liked him because he was an honest, sincere, genuine, caring person who would do anything for you. I always said he should have been a motivational speaker because he would have been Great at it.
We were able to play out between April & September of this year and did some great gigs. We had enough new originals for a new Billy & the Bullets CD too that we were working .. he got sick.
Thanks to all of you who have taken the musical journey with us. We did a lot of Great gigs since Billy & the Bullets were formed in 2003. Bob was the heart and soul of the band and we always had a blast and enjoyed every minute of it.

As a kid, I knew I wanted to be either a cartoonist or an astronaut. The latter was never much of a possibility, as I don’t even like riding in elevators.

Two hours before his death fighting Al-qaeda terrorist Cpl Chris Mason sent his last (known) message to a friend back in the United States, it read: “I want you to read Plasm 139, there is nothing that takes God by surpise.”
