this place will be the best place we ever played. It will go with us wherever we go. Like an ex girlfriend that was the best fuck. This was the place where we cherished every moment and had the most fun. Billy is a great fuckin funny fuck. Every show we play will never be like Billy's. It felt like home to us. Thank you billy for the best shows and the best sound we ever heard and played for as a band. This place will be our breeding ground. Much love and thank you for all the fuckin awesome shows.
this venue being shut down is one of the worst things i'd ever heard in my life. it holds so many memories and was a crucial place for bands all over connecticut. in a generation where no one cares for local music other than the local musicians themselves, billy's booked shows and actually cared for the people in the local music scene. from our first show on october 25th 2008, i knew this venue would be a big thing in my life. though many years from now, people may think of it as just another dirty venue, i know that i'll be thinking of it as my home away from home. i've seen many shows here and played quite a few as well, from shows with one person in the room and shows with almost 50 people in the room. i truly hope the memory will be continued for as long as it can and i wish the best to all who went there, played there, worked there, and, like me, figuratively lived there. i hope something opens up in the future and i send my best regards.
